Hi I’m Darren owner of Daniels Guitars, I’ve been building guitars over 10 years after attending Merton college instrument making course for 2 years full time.
I then worked part time building and finishing right up to full time with a fully equipped workshop including a spray booth
we handmake guitars in the surrey hills, our emphasis is on vintage type construction and nitro finishes, aged finishes are a specialty having looked at the pinnacle of vintage guitars like original bursts and goldtops etc.
Our focus is now on updating iconic set neck guitars by bringing modern comforts like sculpted heels and belly contours into the mix, this results in a comfortable lightweight easy playing version that feels plays and sounds like the old ones.
